Cajun Housefly

I love when the dragonflies come out on the Gulf Coast. They don’t sting, and they don’t fly up my nose. Plus, I’m pretty sure they eat the bugs that do like to go up my nose.

This one’s body is made from a couple of old wooden spindles — one from a chair, the other out of a bucket, and it’s partially covered with Mardi Gras beads.

The head is an old glass cabinet pull, and I cut the wings out of an old garage door. -Steve Joynt
