Raina Macks Collection
Raina Macks is a Gulf Coast artist and the creator of Pink Cloud Art, a body of work known for its textured, expressive style and coastal storytelling. A self-taught painter, Macks works primarily with palette knives and layered acrylics, creating paintings that combine movement, bold color, and sculptural texture.
Inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Mobile Bay and the Gulf Coast, her work often features coastal birds, marine life, botanicals, and abstract figures. Her paintings reflect both the beauty and energy of the region—where water, wildlife, and Southern culture intersect. Macks’ work is recognizable for its vibrant palettes, heavy texture, and modern boho aesthetic, inviting viewers to experience the feeling of the coast rather than simply see it.
Macks earned her degree from the University of South Alabama and is deeply involved in her community. She serves as the Baldwin County Drug Court and Mental Health Court Coordinator, where she works to support recovery and second chances.
She is married to Chad Macks, and together they have a son, Aiden Macks, who is currently attending Auburn University.
Her art has been featured in galleries and art events across the Gulf Coast, including galleries and art walks in Fairhope, Daphne, and Mobile. Through Pink Cloud Art, Macks continues to explore the connection between nature, texture, and emotion—creating pieces that bring a little bit of the coast into everyday spaces.
