Ragan Windsor Collection

Ragan Windsor lives in Summerdale, Alabama with her husband Jim and their dog, Peanut. She retired from public school teaching in 2020, having taught every grade level throughout her career.

At the age of seven, one of her drawings—depicting George Washington riding a horse—was mimeographed and shared with her classmates by her teacher. From that moment on, she knew she was an artist.

Ragan is constantly seeking new visual inspiration that excites her imagination. She often changes direction, exploring a wide range of subjects and mediums. She considers her strengths to be her use of composition and color.

Early each morning, she enters what she calls “the Zone,” a place where time seems to stand still and the “phantom” hand takes over. She works daily, driven by a deep passion for her craft.

She is excited to see where this creative journey leads and is grateful to have others along for the ride.
