Debra Ballinger Collection

Debra fell in love with creating art at a young age, dabbling in art for most of her life- until an accident in her late thirties, when art became her primary focus.  Debra took four semesters of fine art at Kalamazoo Valley Community College which helped her tremendously to understand several different mediums. While at K.V.C.C. she maintained a 4.0+ and made the Deans list each semester. Soon after, she opened a Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her focus, became Western & Equine art while also running a horse rescue. Most of her work in Arizona was oil and watercolor which did very well at the time. After her husbands retirement, they ended up in the Gulf area where Debra's love of the local beaches and wildlife inspired her art. She now focuses on Acrylic and color while sharing her version of her new found paradise.
