Mobile native Carlos R. Hurd Jr. is an Artist, Writer, Model, Actor, Musician, Mental Health Specialist, Educator, and committed Civic Leader. Hurd attended Auburn University, Spring-Hill College, and the University of South Alabama, earning multiple degrees in psychology and art. As a civic leader, Hurd has participated in numerous initiatives, charities, city council campaigns, and a community improvement efforts for over a decade in the city of Mobile. Hurd has worked as a professional print model, and brand ambassador for numerous companies such as Paul Mitchell, and Rue 21. Among various accolades, Hurd and his Artwork has been broadcasted and publicized by major television networks and local news outlets such as CBS, FOX, NBC, and Mobile's own Diversity Magazine. Currently, Hurd is working as a Mental Health Specialist and Educator, while establishing his professional art career.
