Barbara Cobb Collection

Barbara Cobb is a New Orleans native, raised both in New Orleans and in Mobile, Alabama. She has a deep love for life on the Gulf Coast and all of its rich traditions and culture.

Her New Year's resolution for 2018 was to start painting and actively create art. With the encouraging prodding of her husband Tommy, she embarked on what she calls a "crazy journey of creative color" — striving to convey all the beauty, adventure, and emotion that life has to offer.

Barbara works in mixed media, creating art inspired by the people in her life, those she encounters, real life, nature, and her abstract perceptions of the world. She paints every day and designs fine fabrics made from her paintings.

"Life is color!" — Barbara's motto for her vibrant, ever-evolving world.
